Ingredients:
Jaggery - 1 cup
Wheat flour - 2 - 3 tbsp
Banana - 1
Coconut pieces - few
Cardamom powder - a pinch
Oil - to deep fry
Method:
In a kadai, add the jaggery and water. Boil till it becomes thick. Add wheat flour to the jaggery mixture. Mix well. Lastly add banana, coconut pieces and cardamom powder. Mix well. The mix should be like dosa batter. Deep fry appams in a kadai using a spoon.
Note : Appam can also be made using kuzhi panniyaram kadai with less oil.
